What Are Scleral Lenses and How Do They Work?
Many patients who struggle with blurry or distorted vision are surprised to learn about scleral lenses, a type of specialty contact lens designed for complex eye conditions.
Unlike traditional contact lenses, scleral lenses are larger in diameter and rest on the white part of the eye (the sclera) instead of the cornea.
